William J. "Bill" Kroll

In March 2016, Bill Kroll retired as EVP of the Amercian Bankers Association and joined The Casey Group as Managing Director for marketing to open further business opportunities for Community Banks and Credit Unions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Bill brings 40 years of experience in all aspects of Lending and Operational and Cash Management aspects in Financial Services.

Bill began his banking career in 1975 with Maryland National Bank. When the bank was acquired in by Bank of America, Bill was SVP and Division Head for financial institutions, where he directed 350 respondent bank relationships. In 1996, Bill joined MBNA America Bank, Wilmington, Delaware as FVP where he managed the bank's community bank business development area, which included negotiating partnerships with community banks in the areas of co-branded credit cards, consumer finance sales and mortgage banking operations.

In 2004, Bill joined Americas Community Bankers as President of ACB Solutions. This was the for-profit subsidiary to ACB, a national trade association specializing in mortgage lending, commercial lending, card operations and capital markets. In 2007, this group merged with the American Bankers Association. Bill was president of ABA Business solutions, was on the Executive Staff of ABA and a Board Member of ABA Card Solutions and the Community Bank Mortgage, LLC.

Bill received a B.S. in business and economics from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the Maryland Banking School at the University of Maryland.

He served 6 years on the Board of the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland and is co-chair of the MNC alumni association.
