Frank Berger

Frank Berger has over 30 years experience in managing commercial lending and risk management operations at Maryland National Bank and MBNA America. At Maryland National Bank, he served as a senior credit officer, responsible for analyzing a broad range of commercial transactions for middle market and national companies. He was also a member of the Senior Commercial Loan Committee. In addition, he was a credit officer for Maryland National Corporation, underwriting numerous transactions for the company’s Asset Based Lending and Leasing subsidiaries. Frank was also the division manager for Maryland National’s Special Assets Division, responsible for managing 25 commercial lenders and a troubled commercial portfolio of over $1 billion.

Mr. Berger joined MBNA America in 1993 in the Corporate Products Division. Frank went on to organize and manage the credit, collection and fraud functions for this division. During his time at MBNA, he was responsible for numerous commercial portfolio due diligence activities covering a broad range of commercial products and served as the on- site risk manager during the First Union National Bank portfolio acquisition. Frank was a member of MBNA’s Commercial Loan Committee and developed credit and risk policies for their expandng commercial products portfolio.

Mr. Berger graduated from Loyola College with a B.A in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance.
